Designing a Seamless Travel Companion for India’s Foreign Tourists

Despite India's immense potential as a travel destination, it continues to receive far fewer affluent and leisure tourists compared to its Southeast Asian neighbors. Core issues—such as perceived lack of safety, efficiency, and digital transparency—discourage potential travelers. Meramigo set out to change that narrative with a mobile platform aimed at making travel in India safe, convenient, enjoyable, and predictable for global tourists.


Our Approach

We partnered with Meramigo to design Letz Go, a digital solution that bridges the gap between international travelers and India's on-ground service providers, especially in the "last mile" of the travel experience.


UI/UX Design Highlights:


  • Design Strategy:

    The visual style adopted was fresh, clean, and trustworthy—balancing global expectations with local warmth. It was guided by Material Design principles to ensure consistency and familiarity across platforms.

  • User-Centered Process:

    Before finalizing the UI, we thoroughly tested early wireframes for usability issues. These insights helped shape the final interface into an intuitive, minimal

  • Cross-Platform Consistency:
    The app was designed for both Android and iOS platforms, ensuring a seamless experience regardless of the device used. We prioritized accessibility, ensuring the interface was easy to navigate even for users unfamiliar with Indian infrastructure or digital tools.

  • Design Decisions Backed by Research:
    Every design element was inspired by a deep understanding of the users—primarily foreign tourists who value clarity, safety, and dependability. From button placements to navigation flow, the experience was tailored to reduce anxiety and promote confidence while traveling.

  • Bridging the Digital Divide:
    Letz Go is more than an app. It’s a connector between international tourists and last-mile operators across India—auto drivers, guides, transport services—many of whom lack digital training. Our design was simple enough for these service providers to adopt with minimal training, making the platform inclusive at both ends.

  • Pride in the Details:
    The trust-building color palette, clear iconography, and micro-interactions were all designed to convey reliability and ease of use. Language support, offline accessibility features, and real-time support integrations were also included to enhance the user journey.
